A Joyful Start!

I have always loved art, but some how my life got very busy (Imagine that) with a husband, four children and a pretty puppy named Missy! I really missed my creative expression, and was thrilled when I discovered scrapbooking! (At my sisters urgent & relentless pushing!! Thanks Joanne)

She & I were looking at various scrapbooking companies, when our Mom suggestes we call "Marcia" (my very creative & now excellent BFF & oh almost forgot...cousin by marriage) anyway...we called Marcia, made a visit & she showed us how to make a beautiful card using vellum & embossing, then (no doubt!) we were hooked on Close To My Heart Products! Where do we sign...My sister & I said together! So low & behold that is the beginning of my Close To My Heart Career in 1998!

When I joined CTMH I thought we had awesome tools for stamping, card making, scrapbooking and paper crafting, but I had no idea what the future held. Close to My Heart has beautiful stamp designs, papers, inks, embellishments & memory albums designed to last through my children's lives, but that was only the beginning of wonderful things to come!

Close to My Heart has enriched my life in so many ways! By forging new relationships, joining a sisterhood of caring friends & allowing me to share my creative expression with friends, family, and clients! I have always wanted to be an art teacher and now I have the medium to use my creativity & share my love of art with everyone. This is a dream come true! I feel truly blessed to be a part of such a wonderful company!

Wow...sniffle, sniffle (as I wipe the tears away from reading my touching & trueful declaration!!) Let's get on to the Good Stuff!! I've invoked on this adventure of designing a blog to share artwork & My families funny, trying & always busy lives.
